Stripes Publishing - Submissions Guidelines

Do you have a brilliant, original idea for a book or series aimed at children or young teens? If so, please read the guidelines below carefully.

Due to the high number of submissions we receive on a weekly basis, we are no longer accepting manuscripts by post. If you would like to send in your manuscript for consideration, please email a covering letter, one page synopsis and 1000 word extract to editorial@stripespublishing.co.uk. Unfortunately, we cannot offer individual feedback and are only able to reply to authors whose manuscript we wish to consider further. If your work isn't accepted, please don't be downhearted – you can always try other publishers and agents.

Please note, Stripes publishes fiction for children aged 6–12 years and teenagers. We do not accept books for adults, educational books, poetry, graphic novels, comics, multimedia, scripts, screenplays, short stories, non-fiction or picture books for babies and toddlers.

Any postal submissions sent after the 4th March 2016 will be returned if an S.A.E is included and recycled if not.
